The business started in 1977, initially operating out of a garage in Hillrise, but David has seen the company grow during these years and he now
operates from the North Mains Road premises in Kirriemuir (Pictured above), with 14 members of staff, with over 100 years of work in the trade between them and has a fleet of five vans.
During this time he has also been able to provide local young
lads employment as apprentice joiners.
"We are not only joiners and contractors, as we have a well equipped manufacturing workshop, manned by a full-time workshop joiner and carry out all aspects of joinery, from a dado rail to a conservatory,
including the manufacture of fully reversible, tilt and turn sash and case windows.
Currently our client list includes Angus Council and we undertake local authority work as main contractors as well as doing maintenance and repairs.
We are
also on the National Trust for Scotland's list of contractors, and in the past we have done work at Barrie's birth place, a popular National Trust visitor attraction here in Kirriemuir.
In recent times we have done major jobs in the Kirriemuir
area, including refurbishments at the Ogilvy Arms and Clova Hotel."
Having marked up 25 years in business as a sole enterprise, David would like to thank all his employees, past and present, for their hard work.
"I would also like to say a
big thank you to all our loyal customers, past and present as well."
